Meals and Nutrition

At Morgan Estates of Geneseo we understand that meals and nutrition are very important for our residents. That’s why we make it a priority to ensure each and every dining experience is a great one.
Our Food Service Director works closely with a Registered Dietitian to create a diverse menu that is both nutritious and tasty for each resident to enjoy. We change our menus each season so residents are presented a variety of choices and options.
Our elegant, brightly lit dining room is very accommodating and provides a place for residents to laugh and converse amongst friends and loved ones. Three home-cooked meals are prepared daily, and modified meals are available for residents with unique dietary needs and restrictions.

Activities & Wellness

We take pride in creating an engaging activities program that enriches our residents through body, mind and soul. Our full-time Activities Director designs an age appropriate program each month, focusing on the interests and desires of our residents.
Our vibrant, energetic activities team encourages residents to participate and stay active, so they can benefit mentally, socially and physically in a fun and stimulating environment. Exercise programs, educational experiences, exciting local excursions and a wide variety of visiting entertainment are just some of the activities that await our residents.

We want each resident to feel a sense of identity in their new home. We’ve designed our facilities in order to create a dependable environment full of choices where residents find joy and are proud to call our community home.

We offer private rooms where residents are free to furnish and decorate with personal items as they please. Fully furnished rooms, with furniture are also available if you’d like. Each room was designed with convenience, comfort and safety of senior residents in mind.

Single Private Rooms, Large Private Studios
and Two (2) Room Suits Include:

Washer / Dryer hookups in each unit
Window coverings and carpeting
Individually controlled heating and air conditioning
Fire and emergency call systems
All utilities except telephone
Garage for vehicle storage (In Select Units)

Additional Services Available, Including:

On-site monthly visits by local medical professionals
On-site visiting lab and x-ray services
On-site beauty/barber shop
Coordination of medications with in house pharmacy
Medical Transportation (available for a fee)

Enhanced Assisted Living (EALR)

We recognize that individuals may be faced with increased medical conditions and/or a greater need for assistance with daily activities as they age. As an Enhanced Care (EALR) certified provider we welcome Enhanced Assisted Living Residents in need of additional services such as those listed below.
Assistance with feeding, ambulation, and transferring
Management of medical equipment and daily injections
Skilled nursing observations and medical monitoring
Changing dressings, wound care, and personal hygiene support
Catheter, incontinence and colostomy care support
An evaluation will be completed for each prospective resident that may require EALR services to determine whether the individual is appropriate for placement.
